Day Trip: Klang and Sungai Buloh

At first we wanted to visit Istana Lama Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah but then based on latest info, the palace is still close to public, so, we headed to Klang instead. Chosen SKVE over Elite, took the Telok Panglima Garang exit (RM2.70 from Bandar Saujana Putra Toll) and drove all the way to Klang using the federal road.
First stop, Raja Mahadi Fort.
It was once the battle ground between Raja Mahadi and Raja Abdullah, as quoted from the info stated there...
Second stop, Pengkalan Batu, Kota Bridge overlooking the Masjid Bandar Diraja Klang Utara.
Third stop, Sungai Buloh Nursery which is also the Taman Muzium Warisan Kusta
My heart skipped a beat when I first realised that this is the centre for those suffered with leprosy, hence they called this place as Valley of Hope. Glad that I made it here to learn about the place. All the buildings are still in place and there is also the Pejabat Persatuan and Gallery Home 1, 2 and 3. Sorrow feelings clouded my emotion knowing that some of them only lived here throughout their life, without much connection with outside world.
I pray for their well being, wherever and whenever.
